Antinori - Vina Haras De Pirque
The Antinori family has been in the wine business since 1385, with 26 generations in the field , 1700 hectares spread over Europe and more than 600 years of history, it is positioned as one of the companies with more experience and quality worldwide.
In 2002, the Antinori family became interested in the Haras de Pirque. They teamed up to make a first unique and intriguing wine called Albis.
Italian experts led by the award-winning winemaker Renzo Cotarella, come to Chile to advise in the development and management of the vineyards, sharing and contrasting the Italian palate with Chile, to develop a superior and exclusive and unique product.
Haras de Pirque covers 600 hectares, gently ascending in its southern boundary by the foothills of the Cordillera de los Andes, in Pirque, Chile.
This sector of foothills in 1992 is planted with 120 hectares of vineyards, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère, between the reds and Chardonnay and
Sauvignon Blanc, among white, from which are born Premium wines .

Tasting Notes: This Gran Reserva wine expresses the natural evolution of the estate's wines. Bright yellow with greenish hue. A delicate white peach aroma appears blended with a spicy touch. Very fresh. Nice and juicy acidity with volume and freshness.
Recommended Food Match: Oysters, white griled fish, salads and chesses.

Tasting Notes: This Carmenere wine expresses the very Chilean character of this grape variety. It is fruity, fresh and soft . It has a simple and clean style and personality. Dark and intense violet colour. Rich nose with red fruits and spices and fresh tabacco notes. On the palate it is soft, juicy and extremly pleasant .
Recommended Food Match: Risotto, pasta , pizza or with some oily fish plates such as salmon or tuna.

Tasting Notes: Deep purple colour. Aromatic on the nose, with natural herbs and spiciness dominating the fresh flavor of this wine. Typical notes of Upper Maipo valley distinguishing this blend, tobacco, earthiness and mineral notes. Complex, elegant and long lasting on the palate.
