The Maison Brotte, an independent family business for three generations now, was founded in 1931 in Châteauneuf du Pape by Charles Brotte, a pioneer in the bottling of wines of the Rhône Valley.
Over the last 20 years ago, wanting to get closer to wine production and thus guarantee better quality of its vintages, the Maison Brotte began working as wine-makers for several appelations of the Rhône Valley in their own cellars in Châteauneuf du Pape.
Today directed by Laurent Brotte, grandson of the founder, the Maison Brotte, sells around 1.4 million bottles per year, to restaurants, wine cellars and private individuals.

Tasting Notes: This wine has a pale yellow with green hints. On the nose aromas of exotic and citrus fruits and white flowers. On the palate it is wonderfully complex with notes of peach and apricot, this wine displays excellent freshness and length.
Recommended Food Match: Barbecued shellfish, chicken dishes, sweetbreads with morilles or alongside desserts of stewed fruits, vanilla millefeuille or apricot pie.

Tasting Notes: This wine has a straw yellow colour with golden highlights. On the nose, stone fruits evolving into notes of toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, plum with honey and fresh ripe fruits (peach, white currant). Great length with an elegant citrus finish.
Recommended Food Match: Serve as an aperitif , foie gras in citrus sauce, lobster, roast chicken.

Tasting Notes: This wine has a dark ruby colour with light edges.On the nose, medium intensity with aromas of stone fruits and delicately spicy hints of pepper and thyme. On the palate smooth, warming and elegant. Its aromas recall wild red fruits, dark cherries, forest floor and liquorice. The tannins are soft yet precise.
Recommended Food Match: Wild mushroom omelette, veal or beef fillets.
